Lucang Huang’s practice explores the image as a temporary event rather than a fixed record. Working with photography, installation, video, mirrors, shadows, rooms, public spaces, and generated images, he creates situations in which images appear, disappear, or almost become believable. His work often stays close to the moment before an image becomes stable, asking how light, surface, body, device, and memory produce the conditions for seeing.
